Little Fish in the Big pond

If you were to Google "Porta Potty MN" right now, you would get 1 or 2 local company ad's at the top of the search results. On any given day, I may be the company with the top ad depending on how much money my competition is spending.

At some point it just doesn't make sense to try and compete for my spot with the big fish on the worlds most used search engine.

My best chance at picking up new business is actually to sit back and wait! We get calls every week from businesses who are sick of the lack of customer service or fed up with inconsistent cleaning of their current service provider.

We have operated for 10 years without a website. Our biggest way of getting information to people was the business Facebook page created in 2010. In 2017 it is time for a change.

In an effort to broaden our reach into the twin cities, we built our first website.

www.twincitytoilets.com

We purchased ad's on Google and joined various local chambers of commerce as well as the builders association of the twin cities.

If you were to look at a map of our service area last year, it would not include much of what you see you on this current service map.

I believe our efforts are working in broadening our reach into the twin cities and we have built many new relationships in the process. This campaign has only been going for the last four months and were excited for what the rest of 2017 has for us.

There is a reason for this coordinated success. It is without a doubt a direct result of hard work on behalf of our administrative department (my wife & I ) and our drivers who at times have been involved in the process of building our website and promoting our business as an exhibitor at trade shows.

We love this big pond of the Twin Cities. I don't have problem with big fish in it and I have no problem in my role just trying to grow at a measured pace keeping my customers needs priority by never taking on more than we can handle.

God bless!
